Soccer Game Preview: Mill Creek vs. Lambert

The Mill Creek Hawks will take on the Lambert Longhorns on Monday. Mill Creek will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Mill Creek is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They never let Richmond Hill get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. Isa Ferre had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Mill Creek.

South Gwinnett typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Lambert proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Comets. Lambert might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by three goals or more this season.

Mill Creek's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Lambert, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season.

Mill Creek skirted past Lambert 1-0 in their previous meeting back in April of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
