Baseball Recap: Drumright Takes a Loss

Drumright came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 14-1 to the Davenport Bulldogs. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Drumright's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Davenport, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Drumright will venture away from home to take on Yale at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Davenport, they will take on Ripley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
