Basketball Game Preview: College Prep of America Thunder vs. Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family

College Prep of America and Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The College Prep of America Thunder will be playing at home against Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. College Prep of America is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.4 points per game this season.

Last Friday, College Prep of America was able to grind out a solid victory over Daystar Academy, taking the game 49-38. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Thunder.

College Prep of America found their leader in freshman Rayyan Sozzer, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 steals. Those 11 steals gave Sozzer a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zayd Ansari, who went 5 for 10 on his way to 11 points.

Meanwhile, Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 55-39 bruising from Marian Central Catholic.

College Prep of America's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.
