Families Instructing Students HomeSchool extended the longest winning streak in Florida Christian III (6 Man) this week by beating Oasis Christian, 25-19. The win marks sixth in a row for the Families Instructing Students HomeSchool.
John Catlin's team and the Lions played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with John Catlin's team eventually emerging with a 25-19 victory. Caleb Couch ran for 131 yards and caught six passes for 48 yards in the win.
Jacob Couch put up the best numbers through the air as Families Instructing Students HomeSchool topped Oasis Christian. He finished with a total of 11 completions for 100 yards and two touchdowns.
Caleb Nowinski made the biggest impact on defense this week as Families Instructing Students HomeSchool defeated James Schick's team. The defensive lineman grabbed 1.0 sack.
Ethan Whitehurst was the best wideout in the league this week as Geneva Classical Academy fell to Clearwater Academy International. Whitehurst tallied three receptions for 138 yards. Jackson Maravilla helped Geneva Classical Academy's passing attack out by catching two balls for 25 yards.
Thanks to the talents of Couch and Tim Warren Families Instructing Students HomeSchool has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Couch leads the league in passing with 407 yards, while Warren has rushed for 886 yards this season. The Knights' Whitehurst leads the league in receiving yards with 297 on nine catches.
The marquee game in Florida Christian III (6 Man) this week will be the clash between Hillsborough Baptist and Geneva Classical Academy. The Lions enters the contest ranked 15th in the state, while the Knights ranks 17th.
