Softball Recap: Ridgevue Comes Up Short

Ridgevue was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Boise Brave, falling 15-5. The Warhawks were not able to make up for their loss to the Brave from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Nessa Thompson and Berkley Roath did some serious damage despite the final result: Thompson scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while Roath scored a run while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave Roath a new career-high.

Ridgevue's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Boise, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgevue will head out to face off against Vallivue at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Boise, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Middleton at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
