Volleyball Recap: Sumner Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Sumner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Olympia Bears, falling 3-0. If the Spartans were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Bears when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-13, 25-10.

Sumner's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Olympia, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Sumner wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against South Kitsap on the 6th. As for Olympia, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Emerald Ridge on the 6th.
