Football Recap: Elmwood Park Falls to Woodstock North in First Game of Season

Elmwood Park had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Woodstock North Thunder on Friday, falling 68-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it ten in a row.

Elmwood Park and Woodstock North could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Tigers will take on Chicago Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (467 vs. 184). Meanwhile, Woodstock North (ranked 270th) will meet IC Catholic Prep (ranked 27th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
