Stanley-Boyd was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 7-2 to the Fall Creek Crickets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crickets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 on Tuesday.

Alex Williams was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. Williams was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double was his first of the season.

Williams wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Josiah Demske, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Jackson Gindt also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
