Basketball Recap: Anson Bearcats vs. Parkwood Wolf Pack
Anson easily dispatched Central Academy last Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Anson Bearcats fell just short of the Parkwood Wolf Pack by a score of 66-63 on Friday. The Bearcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolf Pack earlier this season, when they won 58-51.

When it comes to explaining why Anson lost, don't look at Jayden Little. Despite the final result, he went 11 of 19 en route to 32 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. Anson's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Parkwood, they pushed their record up to 7-13 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Monroe the next time they take the court. Anson will host Monroe at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Parkwood will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
