Softball Recap: Worthington Christian Falls to United in First Game of Season

Worthington Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the United Golden Eagles on Monday, falling 13-3.

Worthington Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayla McAllister, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

United has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Worthington Christian will host St. Joseph Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for United, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Mayfield at 1:30 p.m.
