Flag Football Recap: Los Angeles CES Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Los Angeles CES had lost seven straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped down to 1-5 to make it eight. They were dealt a 48-0 defeat at the hands of the Venice Gondoliers. If the Unicorns were looking for revenge after losing 47-6 to the Gondoliers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Venice, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.8 points over those games.

Reagan Saumers was a one-woman wrecking crew as she threw for 125 yards and five TDs while completing 76.9% of her passes, and also punched in one score on the ground.

Looking ahead, Los Angeles CES will welcome Roybal at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Venice, they have already played their next game, a 26-0 win against University on the 9th.
