Baseball Game Preview: Federal Hocking Lancers vs. Southern Tornadoes

Federal Hocking hasn't had much luck against Southern recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Lancers will head out on the road to take on the Tornadoes at 5:00 p.m. Federal Hocking has given up an average of 13.6 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Federal Hocking is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 33rd straight game dating back to last season on Wednesday. They came up short against Nelsonville-York, falling 19-6. On the bright side, the six- run performance marked the Lancers' highest-scoring contest to date.

Meanwhile, Southern didn't have quite enough to beat Waterford on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

Southern's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Federal Hocking, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.
