Football Recap: River Ridge Royal Knights vs. Countryside Cougars
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask River Ridge). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Countryside Cougars 63-0 on the road. The Royal Knights' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
River Ridge's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Countryside, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
River Ridge will face off against Mitchell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mitchell will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something River Ridge surely won't give up without a fight. As for Countryside, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Gulf at 7:00 p.m. on October 11th.
