Mason Meyer has brought in more RBI than anyone else on the Mt. Vernon team this season and he led the team again on Thursday. Meyer was dynamite, going 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Mt. Vernon is undefeated when Meyer posts one or more home runs, but 3-5 otherwise.

Coming up, Meyer and Mt. Vernon will challenge Richmond at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meyer had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their contest back in April of 2024 2-0.
