Volleyball Game Preview: Harvard-Westlake Wolverines vs. Chaminade Eagles

The Harvard-Westlake Wolverines are taking a road trip to challenge the Chaminade Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Chaminade will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Harvard-Westlake extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. The Wolverines were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Bishop Alemany.

Harvard-Westlake was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-12, 25-18.

Chaminade not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 1st. They blew past Crespi 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 25-20.

Chaminade's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-10. As for Harvard-Westlake, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5.

Everything went Harvard-Westlake's way against Chaminade in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Harvard-Westlake made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
