Baseball Recap: Hanover Comes Up Short

Hanover lost against Biglerville back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Nighthawks came up short against the Canners, falling 15-3.

Hanover saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carver Alvarez, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Hanover's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Biglerville, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-5 record.

Coming up, Hanover will look to defend their home field on Friday against York Catholic at 4:15 p.m. The Nighthawks are facing the Fighting Irish at the right time seeing as the Fighting Irish are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Biglerville, they will face off against Fairfield at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
