Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Centennial walked away with it. Their defense stepped up to hand the Chesapeake Cougars a 2-0 shutout on Friday. The victory was nothing new for Centennial as they're now sitting on three straight.

Centennial's win bumped their record up to 13-1-2. As for Chesapeake, they moved to 11-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Coming up, Centennial will challenge Tuscarora on Friday. Tuscarora's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Chesapeake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
