Soccer Game Preview: Sherman vs. Denton

The Sherman Bearcats will take on the Denton Broncos at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Sherman's offense. They came up short against Little Elm on Tuesday, falling 4-0. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Denton won against Mansfield Summit last Friday with four goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again last Saturday. Denton walked away with a 4-2 win over North Crowley. That's two games straight that the Broncos have won by exactly two goals.

Joel Rodriguez and Kevin Martinez scored all four of Denton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

The victory made it two in a row for Denton and bumps their season record up to 3-0-1. As for Sherman, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
