Volleyball Recap: Cape Fear Academy Starts Season with Win at Home

Cape Fear Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They put the hurt on the North Brunswick Scorpions with a sharp 3-0 win. The Hurricanes were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Scorpions, so the Hurricanes were just returning the favor.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-8, 25-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cape Fear Academy will welcome Epiphany at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Hurricanes' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for North Brunswick, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Heide Trask at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
