Beaumont United has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They received a blow on Thursday as they fell 50-36 to the Marian Eagles. The matchup marked the Timberwolves' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Beaumont United's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brandon Maxson, who posted nine points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Malachi Anderson, who earned five points and nine rebounds.

Baye has been hot for a while, having posted nine or more rebounds the last 32 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Ehud Tesfaye, who had 11 points and seven assists.
