Basketball Recap: Kristoffer Lang Jr. Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Chatham Homeschool

South Charlotte's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 70-58 win over Chatham HomeSchool. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 78-57 two weeks ago.

South Charlotte's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kristoffer Lang Jr. led the charge by as he made all 5 shots he took to post 14 points. What's more, Lang Jr. posted two steals, the most he's had since back in February. Another player making a difference was Brenden LaCroix, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 16 points.

South Charlotte was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

South Charlotte now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Chatham HomeSchool, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

As for Chatham HomeSchool, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Forsyth Home Educators at 6:30 p.m. on December 4.
