Basketball Recap: Broaddus Gets the Win

While Broaddus didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Harts Bluff Bulldogs 41-39. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Broaddus has posted since December 1, 2023.

Among those leading the charge was Ace Williams, who went 7 for 8 on his way to 15 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Modisette, who posted ten points.

The win made it two in a row for Broaddus and bumps their season record up to 8-5. As for Harts Bluff, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season.

Broaddus didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 50-31 victory against McLeod on the 13th. As for Harts Bluff, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 48-32 win against Alba-Golden on the 13th.
