It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Karns City had no problem doing just that on Monday. They skirted past Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley 4-3. The victory continues a trend for the Gremlins in their matchups with Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley: they've now won four in a row.

Tyson Frazer was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.

Karns City's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.
