Baseball Recap: Marlboro Academy Comes Up Short

Marlboro Academy lost against Christ the Cornerstone Academy last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Marlboro Academy Dragons fell 5-1 to the Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders. The matchup marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Marlboro Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Christ the Cornerstone Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Marlboro Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on King's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on April 1st. Christ the Cornerstone Academy also won't see the field for a while: their next contest is against Mintz Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on March 25th.
