Football Recap: Weskan Coyotes vs. Cunningham Wildcats
Weskan extended their postseason success on Saturday against Cunningham. They pulled ahead with a 49-48 photo finish over the Cunningham Wildcats. The Coyotes' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Luke Albers and Skyler Thimesch certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Albers picked up 85 receiving yards and three touchdowns, while Thimesch gained 144 total yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance also gave Thimesch a new career-high in rushing yards (61).
Weskan's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Cunningham, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 10-1.
As of now, neither Weskan nor Cunningham have any future games scheduled.
