Volleyball Recap: Cloverleaf Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Cloverleaf had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Brookside Cardinals as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Colts also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2023.

While Cloverleaf won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 26-24.

Marlo Downing paced Cloverleaf's offense, picking up 12 kills. Downing got some help from Madi Young and her 25 assists.

Cloverleaf's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Brookside, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Cloverleaf will square off against Medina at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Brookside, they will face off against Firelands at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
