Softball Game Preview: Oswego Bucs vs. East Syracuse-Minoa Spartans

The Oswego Bucs will challenge the East Syracuse-Minoa Spartans at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Monday, Oswego didn't have quite enough to beat Auburn and fell 6-5. The Bucs haven't had much luck with the Maroons recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Oswego saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaelyn Bond, who went 3-for-6 with one run and one double. Lillee Thompson also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Meanwhile, East Syracuse-Minoa got the win against Westhill on Saturday by a conclusive 9-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

East Syracuse-Minoa's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Oswego, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Oswego beat East Syracuse-Minoa 5-0 in their previous meeting on Thursday. Do the Bucs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
