Soccer Recap: Lancaster Comes Up Short

Lancaster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Quartz Hill Royals. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one goal.

Lancaster's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11-2. As for Quartz Hill, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8-2.

Lancaster didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 loss against Littlerock on the 27th. As for Quartz Hill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Knight on the 27th.
