Softball Recap: Countryside Takes a Loss

Countryside came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the River Ridge Royal Knights, falling 11-1. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Royal Knights: they've now lost four in a row.

Countryside saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaitlyn Crouch, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Countryside's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for River Ridge, the win got them back to even at 11-11.

Looking ahead, Countryside will face off against Seminole at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. River Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
