Weldon Dunston IV Drops League-Best Performance on Friday
Starting off the list is Effingham's Weldon Dunston IV, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Brayden Trimble put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He picked up 45 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 30 yards and a touchdown.
If history really does repeat itself, Trimble might just drop another big game when he faces off against Charleston on Friday. When Trimble last faced the Trojans back in October of 2023, he rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also picked up 38 receiving yards and a touchdown.
