Volleyball Recap: Treasure Coast Takes a Loss

Treasure Coast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Morningside Academy Eagles. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-14, 23-25, 25-21.

Treasure Coast's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Morningside Academy, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Morningside Academy will square off against Atlantic Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Morningside Academy's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. Treasure Coast will be paying especially close attention to Morningside Academy's matchup: after Morningside Academy faces off against Atlantic Christian, they'll take on Treasure Coast again at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
