Olentangy hadn't beaten Marysville on the road since September 22, 2017 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Braves breezed past the Monarchs to the tune of 49-17. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-10.

Luke Chilicki was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 264 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes. Mike Alexander also helped out with an impressive 101 receiving yards.

Marysville's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of JJ Henry, who rushed for 101 yards and one TD on only 13 carries, and Brady Carper, who rushed for 84 yards and one score on only eight carries. Henry's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 101 rushing yards.

The win was the fourth in a row for Olentangy, bringing their record up to 6-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.3 points over those games. As for Marysville, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Olentangy has already played their next matchup, a 17-11 win against Hilliard Darby on the 10th. As for Marysville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 22-21 victory against Thomas Worthington on the 10th.
