Volleyball Recap: Century Diamondbacks vs. Kimberly Bulldogs
Century lost against Kimberly back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Century Diamondbacks fell 3-1 to the Kimberly Bulldogs.
Century took a 1-0 lead headed into the second set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 12-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-16.
Century lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Sky Coleman, who had 21 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Sage Coleman, who had 16 digs.
Century's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Kimberly, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-4.
After both having extra time off, Century and Blackfoot will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kimberly, they will face off against Snake River at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
