Volleyball Game Preview: Sheboygan South Redwings vs. Port Washington Pirates + Official Tickets

The Sheboygan South Redwings are taking a road trip to face off against the Port Washington Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Sheboygan South lost 3-0 to Kettle Moraine Lutheran on Thursday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-11, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Port Washington entered their tilt with Plymouth on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 3-1.

In the three sets Port Washington was on fire: they won each by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 24-26, 25-13, 25-12.

Sheboygan South better focus on containing Summer Wille and Emersyn Loose as the pair were huge in Port Washington's win. Wille had 15 digs and eight aces, while Loose had 16 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Wille has posted over her last six matches. Another player making a difference was Claudia Ryder, who had 14 assists and six digs.

Port Washington's victory bumped their record up to 24-11. As for Sheboygan South, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

Sheboygan South couldn't quite get it done against Port Washington when the teams last played back in September of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Redwings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
