Volleyball Game Preview: New Philadelphia Quakers vs. Dover Crimson Tornadoes

New Philadelphia is 2-8 against Dover since September of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Quakers will look to defend their home court against the Crimson Tornadoes at 6:30 p.m.

On Saturday, New Philadelphia came up short against Waynedale and fell 2-0.

Meanwhile, Dover had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Chieftains.

Dover had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-18.

New Philadelphia's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Dover, their victory bumped their record up to 18-2.
