Basketball Recap: Moody Comes Up Short

Moody was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 60-38 to the Ramsay Rams. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 192nd, while the Rams are ranked ninth).

Moody's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Ramsay, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 18-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moody will take on Carver Birmingham at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ramsay, they will head out to square off against Leeds at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Ramsay's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven matches.
