Basketball Game Preview: Butler Bears vs. Jeffersontown Chargers

The Butler Bears will challenge the Jeffersontown Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Butler sitting on four straight victories and Jeffersontown on six.

Butler is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Kentucky's top teams: Pleasure Ridge Park, who was ranked 23rd at the time (Butler was ranked 21st). Butler slipped by Pleasure Ridge Park 43-42 on Saturday. The 43-point effort marked the Bears' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Jeffersontown beat Moore 66-62 on Saturday.

Jeffersontown's win bumped their record up to 25-6. As for Butler, their victory bumped their record up to 26-4.

Butler was able to grind out a solid win over Jeffersontown in their previous meeting back in January, winning 78-66. The rematch might be a little tougher for Butler since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
