Baseball Recap: Sterling Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Sterling ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Valley Vikings 4-3. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 10-5 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Caysen Bamford was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Ethan Felzien, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Sterling's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3.
