If McFarland wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Arvin, they should've done a better job of containing Kayleene Pantoja. The Bears came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 2-0 on Saturday for which the team can thank Pantoja, who had 14 digs and four assists. Pantoja is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Leslie Rodriguez and Sophie Cruz certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Rodriguez had 14 digs, while Cruz had three digs and three aces.

Arvin now has a winning record of 3-2-2. As for McFarland, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Arvin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Independence on the 23rd. As for McFarland, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Kern Valley on the 26th.
