On Tuesday, Germantown faced Madison Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Madison Central Jaguars who were credited with the victory. The Madison Central Jaguars got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Germantown Mavericks' three. The Mavericks' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Germantown's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3-2. As for Madison Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-1-2.
