Basketball Recap: Spartanburg Christian Academy Victorious

High Point Academy came into Monday's matchup looking for another win against Spartanburg Christian Academy, but Delaney Caldwell wouldn't allow it. The Spartanburg Christian Academy Warriors secured a 47-42 W over the High Point Academy Grizzlies on Monday thanks in part to Caldwell, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 13 boards. Her morning made it nine games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

High Point Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ti'Jah Davis, who posted 12 points. Those 12 points gave Davis a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ella Zhuk, who put up ten points.

Spartanburg Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for High Point Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Spartanburg Christian Academy will take on Southside Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for High Point Academy, they will challenge Clinton at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
