Softball Recap: Vincennes Lincoln Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sullivan, Vincennes Lincoln was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 14-9 win over the North Knox Warriors. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Alices' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Bradie Turpin looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Grace Archer was incredible, scoring three runs while going 4-for-5. What's more, she posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Addy Alton, who scored two runs while going 3-for-5.

Vincennes Lincoln's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Coming up, Vincennes Lincoln will host South Knox at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Knox, they will take on Clay City at 5:30 p.m. on the 9th.
