Basketball Recap: Grayling Has No Trouble Against Roscommon

Grayling won the last time they faced Roscommon and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Grayling Vikings put the hurt on the Roscommon Bucks with a sharp 67-46 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Grayling has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points per game. As for Roscommon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grayling will host Ogemaw Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Grayling has won six straight at home dating back to last season, while Ogemaw Heights won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Roscommon, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Meridian at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
