Basketball Recap: New Trier Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Wins at Home

New Trier lost against Evanston back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The New Trier Trevians took a 62-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Evanston Wildkits.

New Trier's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-7. As for Evanston, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

When New Trier and Evanston next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. New Trier will square off against McHenry and their eight-game winning streak at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. New Trier will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak alive. Similarly, Evanston will try to stop Benet Academy's three-game winning streak when the meet at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
