Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mohonasen). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Schenectady Patriots a 13-0 shutout on Saturday. With that victory, the Warriors brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Daniel Corsoro was a standout: he got on base in two of his four plate appearances with three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Tommy Gianatasio was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Mohonasen and bumps their season record up to 10-7. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Schenectady, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-13.

As of now, neither Mohonasen nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
