Basketball Recap: Carson Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

After flying high against East Rowan last Friday, Carson came back down to earth. The Carson Cougars fell just short of the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls by a score of 77-74 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Cougars have suffered since February 27th.

Carson's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-2. As for Hickory Ridge, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-4.

When Carson and Hickory Ridge next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Carson will try to stop Robinson's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hickory Ridge will challenge Mooresville and their four-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
