Football Game Preview: North Lawndale Phoenix vs. Curie Condors

The North Lawndale Phoenix will face off against the Curie Condors at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.

On Friday, North Lawndale lost to Prosser on the road by a 30-16 margin.

Meanwhile, Curie had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 30-28 win over the Rangers. The score was all tied up 16-16 at the break, but the Condors were the better team in the second half.

Curie's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for North Lawndale, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

North Lawndale strolled past Curie in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a score of 24-6. Will the Phoenix repeat their success, or do the Condors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
