Preview: Ossining Pride vs. Suffern Mounties

The Ossining Pride will be home for the holidays to greet the Suffern Mounties at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Ossining's favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Suffern has been banged up by two consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Ossining has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 35 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped last Tuesday as they easily beat Valhalla 88-43 at home. With Ossining ahead 57-18 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Among those leading the charge was Kris Singh, who scored 21 points. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aki Williams, who scored 12 points.

Meanwhile, Suffern came up short against Monroe-Woodbury on Saturday and fell 57-44.

Ossining's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Suffern, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1.
