Birmingham is a perfect 10-0 against Chatsworth since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Birmingham Patriots will host the Chatsworth Chancellors at 2:30 p.m. Birmingham will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

If Birmingham beats Chatsworth with three goals on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. Birmingham came out on top against Granada Hills Charter by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. Given the Patriots' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Highlanders are ranked 242nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, neither Chatsworth nor Taft could gain the upper hand on Monday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Chatsworth's goal came courtesy of Rivaldo Mejia, who's now up to two this season.

Birmingham pushed their record up to 22-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those nine contests. Chatsworth's draw makes their record 6-8-4 this season.

Birmingham beat Chatsworth 2-0 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Will Birmingham repeat their success, or does Chatsworth have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
