Softball Recap: Waterville Finishes Even with Cascade

Waterville couldn't beat Cascade on Thursday even though they stacked five runs on them in the second inning. The Shockers and the Kodiaks finished up their match with an 8-8 draw.

With that draw, Waterville's record moves to 9-2-1. As for Cascade, they moved theirs to 4-11-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waterville will square off against Oroville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Shockers are facing the Hornets at the right time seeing as the Hornets are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Cascade, they will challenge Chelan at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mountain Goats will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Kodiaks surely won't give up without a fight.
